This ambrosia sundae recipe combines mandarin oranges, coconut and Breyers® Original French Vanilla Ice Cream for a light and refreshing dessert.

  • 1 can (11 oz.) mandarin oranges, drained*
  • 1/4 cup orange marmalade
  • 2 Tbsp. rum or coconut flavored rum
  • 2 cups Breyers® Natural Vanilla Ice Cream
  • 1/4 cup flaked coconut, toasted if desired


  • Cook oranges, marmalade and rum in small saucepan until heated through.

  • Scoop Breyers® Natural Vanilla Ice Cream into 4 goblets or dessert dishes, then top with warm orange mixture and coconut.

*SUBSTITUTION: Use one large seedless orange, sectioned, with outer membrane removed.
