  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Breyers® Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream, softened
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips


  • Beat butter and sugars in a large bowl with electric mixer until blended. Beat in egg and vanilla. Add Breyers® Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream and beat until smooth and creamy.

  • With mixer on low speed, gradually beat in flour and baking soda just until blended. Fold in chocolate chips. Cover dough and chill for at least 1 hour.

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Roll 2 Tbsp. dough into balls and place 2-in. apart on baking sheets. Press balls down slightly with the palm of your hand or back of spatula to flatten slightly.

  • Bake 10 to 12 minutes, until just golden brown around the edges. Remove to wire rack and cool completely.
