Bring a pot of 5 cups of water to a boil.
Add the boba pearls to the boiling water and stir gently to prevent sticking.
Cook the pearls for about 15-20 minutes, or until they become soft and chewy.
Once cooked, remove the pot from heat and let the pearls sit for an additional 5 minutes.
Strain the pearls and rinse them with cold water to stop the cooking process.
Transfer the pearls to a mixing bowl and add brown sugar or honey to taste. Stir well and let them sit for a few minutes to absorb the sweetness.
Next, scoop your vanilla ice cream into a mixing bowl.
Add the sweetened boba pearls to the ice cream. Adjust the amount of boba based on your preference.
Gently fold the boba into the ice cream until evenly distributed. Be careful not to overmix, as you want to maintain the creamy texture of the ice cream.
Scoop into bowls and add toppings like fresh fruit, chocolate chips, or sprinkles for extra fun.
