Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup salted butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Breyers® Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 3 Heart shaped cookie cutters
  • 1 Pink, red and white icing
  • 1 Natural Pink, red and white sprinkles

Directions

  • Beat butter and sugar in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until blended, about 2 minutes. Beat in egg and vanilla.

  • Beat in ice cream until smooth and creamy. With mixer on low speed, gradually beat in flour and baking soda. Cover dough and chill at least
    1 hour.

  • Preheat oven to 350°. On lightly floured surface, roll dough out to about 1/2-inch thickness. Cut out heart shapes with cookie cutters. Arrange on baking sheets.

  • Bake 10 to 12 minutes, just until golden brown around edges. Remove cookies to wire rack to cool completely. Ice cookies and top with sprinkles as desired.
